02
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal information processed through the Onvyr website, the Onvyr application, product communications, customer support, billing flows, and related services.
This policy does not replace any separate written agreement, data processing agreement, or customer-specific terms that may apply to an organization using Onvyr.

Information we collect
Account and contact information: when you create an account, contact us, request information, join a waitlist, submit a form, or communicate with us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, company name, role, phone number, company size, project type, plan interest, and any additional information you choose to provide.
Workspace and project information: when you use the Onvyr application, we may process information connected to your workspace, projects, areas, assets, observations, documents, reports, notes, uploaded files, project knowledge, user activity, and related operational context.
Usage and technical information: we may collect information about how the website and application are accessed and used, including pages visited, features used, device and browser information, approximate location, logs, errors, and security-related events.
Billing information: if you purchase a paid plan or subscription, payment and billing information may be processed through Stripe. Onvyr does not need to store full payment card details directly.
Communications: if you contact us for support, sales, security, privacy, or product questions, we may process the content of those communications and related metadata.
04
How we use information
We use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Onvyr.
This includes creating and managing accounts, organizing workspaces and project information, providing product features, enabling AI-assisted functionality, responding to requests, offering customer support, processing payments, sending service communications, monitoring reliability, preventing misuse, and complying with legal obligations.
We may also use limited website and product analytics to understand how users interact with Onvyr and to improve the product experience.
05
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar data protection laws apply, we process personal information under one or more legal bases depending on the context.
Contractual necessity: we process information when needed to provide the Onvyr service, manage accounts, operate workspaces, deliver product features, process subscriptions, and provide support.
Legitimate interests: we may process information for security, fraud prevention, service improvement, product analytics, business operations, customer communication, and protection of our rights, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Consent: we rely on consent where required, such as for optional marketing communications or non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
Legal obligation: we may process information where required for accounting, tax, compliance, dispute resolution, or responding to lawful requests.
06
Project content and AI features
Onvyr may include AI-assisted features that help users search, summarize, structure, analyze, or generate project-related information based on the content available in their workspace.
To provide these features, relevant project content, prompts, instructions, context, and generated outputs may be processed by Onvyr and by AI service providers such as OpenAI.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for certain decisions. Users should review AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for operational, legal, financial, safety, or project-critical decisions.
We do not intentionally use customer project content to train Onvyr models unless this is clearly disclosed or agreed separately. OpenAI states that data sent to its API is not used to train or improve its models unless the customer explicitly opts in.
07
Payments and billing
If Onvyr offers paid plans, subscriptions, invoices, or paid services, payment processing may be handled by Stripe.
Stripe may process payment method details, billing details, transaction information, fraud-prevention information, and related identifiers as needed to provide payment services, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and support billing operations.
Onvyr receives limited payment and subscription information from Stripe, such as customer, plan, invoice, payment status, and transaction-related information needed to manage access to paid services.
08
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand website traffic and product interaction at an aggregated level.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without cookies and to provide anonymized, aggregated usage information rather than tracking users across different websites.
If we later add additional analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
09
How we share information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share personal information with trusted service providers that help us operate Onvyr, including hosting, infrastructure, database, storage, authentication, analytics, email, customer support, payment processing, AI infrastructure, security, accounting, and legal service providers.
These providers are expected to process information only as needed to provide their services to Onvyr or as otherwise required by law.
We may also disclose information if required to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect the security of Onvyr, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Onvyr, users, customers, or others.
10
International transfers
Onvyr and its service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you are located.
Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Account and workspace information is generally kept while the account or workspace remains active. Project content is generally kept while it remains in the relevant workspace or until it is deleted according to available product controls or applicable agreements.
Billing, tax, accounting, security, legal, and dispute-related records may be retained for longer where required for compliance, legitimate business records, or protection of legal rights.
When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete, anonymize, or restrict it where appropriate.
12
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, restriction of processing, objection to processing, portability of information, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us at onvyrcomp@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity or request additional information before responding to a request.
13
Cookies and similar technologies
Onvyr may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies where needed to operate the website and application, remember preferences, secure sessions, understand usage, or support future product and marketing features.
Strictly necessary technologies may be used to provide the service. Non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be handled according to applicable consent requirements.
More details are provided in our Cookie Policy.
14
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep account credentials confidential and notify us if they believe their account or workspace may have been compromised.
More information is available in our Security page.
15
Children’s privacy
Onvyr is not intended for children and should not be used by individuals who are not old enough to enter into a valid agreement or use business software in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Onvyr, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
16
Automated decision-making
Onvyr may use automation and AI-assisted features to support product functionality, organization of information, summaries, suggestions, and project workflows.
We do not intend to use personal information for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human involvement, unless clearly disclosed or agreed separately.
17
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Onvyr, our service providers, legal requirements, or business operations evolve.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
